The Yoknapatawpha Arts Council and the Oxford-Lafayette County Financial Advancement Foundation encourages the community and up and coming entrepreneurs to be a part of them for the Oxford Night of Genius at The Powerhouse on Tuesday, Sept. 14 at 6 p.m.
“This will be our fifth 12 months web hosting Night time of Genius and it appears like each one is greater than the previous,” stated EDF Vice President Allen Kurr. “Each calendar year, I wander absent shocked by the creative imagination and potential of our entrepreneurial local community.”
Evening of Genius is introduced by The Massive Negative Organization Series, an entrepreneurial improvement initiative born out of a partnership with the EDF and YAC in January 2017. At the time, both of those businesses have been hosting equivalent modest small business workshops for area entrepreneurs and artists.
Kurr explained the businesses did not want to replicate attempts, so they decided to spouse for the series.
“The target is to cultivate a network in which entrepreneurs, college students and artists can come across means for any stage of the organization lifestyle cycle,” he claimed. “Through interactive enterprise improvement workshops, contributors are ready to connect, share thoughts and understand new skills.”
